When customizing the mobile forms, you have the option of customizing the Create Form, Edit Form, and the Table Form.
The create form is used when a new record is being created. The edit form is used when a record is being edited. The table view is used when a table is being viewed on the mobile device.
Accessing the Create Form on the mobile device
To access the create form, simply tap the + button on the mobile device, select the dataset and the when creating the record, the create form will be used. If the dataset you select is a spatial dataset you will need to add a geometry to continue to the form.
Access the edit form on the mobile device for a spatial dataset
For a spatial dataset, turn on the dataset you want to access. Then tap on the geometry of the record that you want to edit.
For a non spatial dataset, access the record from the table view and then tap on the edit button. It is easy to filter the table for the specific record you are looking for. Just tap the filter icon, choose the field you want to search, the type of search you want to do, and the value you want to search for.
Access the Table Form on the mobile device
To access the table form, select the menu in the upper left, and tap on "Table". Then select the dataset who's data you would like to see.
